My name is Martina and I am an author/illustrator from the south coast of England. Originally from Czechia, I’ve been living here with my family, 2 cats and a dog for the past 15 years.
My background is in photography and social pedagogy and I love to create fun characters, animals, buildings, and games for children.
I love to work and experiment with all kinds of media that I can then digitally arrange and add details to.
During my 8 years as an illustrator, I had the opportunity to take part in projects for charitable organisations such as Ajudaris, The Bookmark Project and The Superhero Project. I am also regularly sharing my illustrations on the Storybird platform which encourages young children to write their own stories.
Some of my favourite things are crocheting, walks in nature, game evenings with my family, gardening, listening to my favourite tunes while drawing.
